Features to know about

Stay Level and Confident: Up to 5,000 lbs of Load-Leveling Support

Heavy loads can make your rear suspension sag and throw off handling. LoadLifter 5000 air springs give you up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling support so the truck stays level when hauling or towing. Keeping your ride height even improves steering and braking response, helps maintain proper headlight aim, and evens out tire wear so you stay in control under load.

Smooth Out the Ride: Adjustable Air Pressure from 5 psi to 100 psi

Every load is different, and these air springs let you tune the support to match. Run them near the minimum 5 psi when unloaded for a comfortable ride, then air them up to as much as 100 psi when carrying heavy gear or towing. Each spring inflates independently to balance side-to-side weight for off-center loads. Manual inflation valves mount on the bumper for quick adjustments or can be paired with an optional compressor system.

Built Tough for Real Work: Reinforced Rubber with Zytel Nylon Endcaps

These springs are made from 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber with endcaps formed from high-strength Zytel nylon. The material is lighter and more corrosion resistant than steel, so it won’t rust or leak over time. Air Lift’s exclusive upper and lower roll plates add strength at the mounting points and protect the air bags from damage, extending their life through years of towing and hauling.

Simple to Install and Maintain: Complete Kit with Hardware and Air Lines

Everything needed for installation comes in the box—mounting brackets, hardware, air lines, and manual inflation valves. The layout is straightforward for DIY setup using basic tools, and once installed you can inflate each bag separately or add a compressor later for in-cab control. With the lifetime warranty and 60-day satisfaction guarantee backing it up, this system delivers dependable suspension support you can rely on every trip.

Product was shipped and delivered as promise. The installation was simple, was completed start to finish in about 2.5 hours start to finish. I highly recommend this product to everyone who wants to have a smooth, and safe ride when hauling or towing. We wil lnn be using these to help with the handling and safety when towing our travel trailer. Thank you again!!!

by:

Instructions were spot on, took about 4 hours to install (without a lift) including the airbags. Have yet to tow with it but the system seems to work very well.

by:

Great product, easy instal, does what advertised for. I haul a boat on weekends. I also have a motorcycle loader in the back of my pickup that i haul my Harley when we go on longer trips. Great product.

by:

The lift works great. The only reason it doesn’t get five stars is because i had to do some modifications to get it to fit the truck due to the gooseneck ball in the bed but other than that it does the job as advertised

by:

Easy installation

by:

This easily installed on my 2015 GMC Sierra about two, maybe three hours including jacking up and removing from the jack stands.
Purchased this product because I purchased a slide-in camper and wanted the additional support/suspension.
Works exactly as described, cannot find any complaints.

by:

Great job etrailer! Your online ordering is simple, easy, and the products actually fit, unlike other retailers!

It’s been a year and 09 Silverado has hauled numerous loads of firewood and my 32ft camper! . Now I’m doing a complete restoration on a 67 Shasta camper with the help of etrailer! I won’t order anywhere else!!

Excellent product. Really gave additional stability to my GMC for towing travel trailer. Excellent customer service.

by:

Installed this kit a month ago and used it three times pulling my travel trailer. Works as described and has performed as I expected it to. I have a GMC 1500 and no matter if I have my travel trailer with a 600lb tongue weight or 6'x10' single axle trailer with a 160lb tongue weight, with load of course, my truck would squat in the back.

I already added a sway control/weight distribution system and now wanted to get my truck in the right configuration while pulling. For safety and performance.

After reading a lot of reviews I chose this kit.

This kit was easy to install but did take 3 or 4 hours. I wasn't in a rush and wanted to make sure I followed everything in the instructions and not miss anything. I didn't want to rush through it to miss a critical step and then lose brake fluid due to a hole in a brake line. Mainly didn't want to break anything important nor did I want to puncture the air lifts or the poly lines.

Kit went on as expected and fit perfectly. The instructions included pictures and examples to follow that illustrate how everything fits and where everything should be routed. I would definitely buy again.

by:

Great quality and easy installation

by:

Delivery was fast and insulation was easy.
Fit
in place no problems, it’s close but clears everything, so far so good

by:

I purchased the air helper spring to assist with the weight distribution hitch for my travel trailer. I have some sag in the rear suspension on my 1/2 ton PU and was hoping to level out my truck with the air springs. As I aired up the spring the rear of my truck raised up as well as the front. They did not help the rear suspension sag on my truck, only give some assistance to the rear leaf springs, small benefit.

Its been a year since my purchase and installation, and everything is still working flawlessly...

by:

It’s been 1 yr now and these air springs have been just the thing to equalize the trailer tongue weight when towing. They hold the air pressure indefinitely and we’re relatively straight forward to install.

by:

The hardware could be better. Seems like a lot of room for error. I’m not sure if damage is going to happen the first time someone puts it on a lift and stretches the bags.

No problems at all. Great product.

by:

Really nice system. Great quality and easy enough install.
The only issues when installing with a gooseneck hitch, was I had to cut one of the u bolt tabs off of the inner side of both brackets in order for it to line up properly. You don’t use the u-bolt when installing with a gooseneck hitch anyways. I also had to grind an 1/8” off of the 9/16”, 1/4” drive socket in order to hold the bolt inside the frame while tightening. Otherwise I think this will work great for towing my 5th wheel camper. Thanks etrailer for all the info and videos. It really made the installation easier.

by:

Fantastic! Made such a difference in levelling out my truck while pulling my GN horse trailer. Highly recommend buying.

by:

Installation went just like your videos and seemed very simple. Great product!

by:

The airbags are well worth the money & time to install. Easy to level out the trailer and truck for stability. No more weaving when a big truck passes by. I would recommend this for anyone pulling an RV.

by:

Worked perfect. The only complaint I would have is, I never received the little wire to thread the bolt through. A little duct tape on a piece of wire did the same thing. Another issue was on the jounce bumper - the framework of it, I had to grind a little of it away for the air fitting to cleanly swivel. If I did not, the air swivel was "a little snug". It didn't take much either to fix it. Total install time, doing it by myself around 5 hours. By the picture, you can see where I ground it away. Again - did not have to grind that much, but wanted to be sure.

by:

This product was delivered in a timely manner and the installation went very smooth. Been using for about a year on my truck and has been working great. I haul a lot of weight in my box in the form of tools and materials and when loaded down with all that it is smiles when I hook up my enclosed trailer full of material and equipment and bring it down the road. Well worth purchasing and installing this product on my truck!

The air ride suspension has saved my leaf springs by supporting the constant weight of the tools stored in the bed. Great product and is very easy to install.

by:

Air Lift Loadmaster kit was fairly easy to install and definitely made a difference! It did take roughly 4-5 hours by myself but that includes prep, ABS and emergency brake relocation, Schrader valve installation and leak check. My only advice would be to give tech tips like a 10mm deepwell socket to remove the jounce bumper on late model Chevrolets/GMC's. I spent 30 minutes trying to figure that one out alone! So far I'm really impressed with the outcome! Thanks!

by:

Product installation went smoothly after watching the video. It worked very well levelling my truck when hauling water.

by:

The air lift system had to be installed by a professional so there was an additional cost $300. Working as it should.

by:

The installation process was very simple and the instructions were very easy to follow. I normally run the bags between 40-50psi when I’m towing my 24’ enclosed trailer. Having these bags makes the ride a whole lot more comfortable. I’d highly recommend getting them.

  • Spacer Kit to Be Used with Air Lift Suspension Enhancement for 2013 GMC Sierra with 2 inch Lift
If the lift you installed added height to the suspension between the frame and the axle you would need a 2 inch spacer when installing the part # AL57204 with the part # AL52420 which will take up the extra space created. Since you asked where it installs I attached a picture that shows how it installs on a truck like yours. I also attached an install video for you to check out too.

  • Best Load Leveling Kit for 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500
Hey Ken, Instead of going with bump stops like Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TGMRCK15S, I'd recommend going with airbags for better load-leveling. The advantage here is that you can increase the individual air bags by 1 PSI in order to get a completely level fit, instead of being stuck with the static height of a bump stop. For your 2013 Chevy Silverado, you can go with Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL57204, but this package does not fit trucks...
